This position will supervise and handle commercial audit engagements and work on portions of larger and more challenging engagements. A Senior Auditor is expected to perform work assigned with minimum assistance including, job planning, fieldwork, and completion. He / she will often lead one or more associates in the execution of audits, instruct them in work performed, review the work completed, and direct necessary revisions. Responsibilities: • Develop and monitor budgets for new or existing clients• Maintain day-to-day control of engagements and ensure completion in accordance with agreed timelines and budgets• Supervise, train and mentor associates and interns on audit process• Perform the in-charge review of work papers and financial statements and drive the process for client deliverables• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of generally accepted auditing standards and common audit procedures and techniques• Research and analyze financial statement and audit related issues• Establish and maintain a good working relationship with clients• Recognize additional service opportunities and communicate such to managers and partners Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or a related field, from an accredited college/university• Master’s degree in Accounting preferred• Licensed CPA OR currently meets CPA exam eligibility requirements and is working towards obtaining license • 4+ years of relevant experience in public accounting • Ability to travel to client engagements 15% – 20%• Proficiency in use of computers and computer accounting software programs If you are interested, please reach out.
