Job Description:

Essential Duties:• Inventory and prepare customer equipment and parts before shipment.• Gather tools, parts, and anticipate the labor needed for equipment installation at customer site.• Direct and coordinate fabrication and installation activities to ensure products and systems conform to engineering design and customer specifications.• Coordinate operation, maintenance, and repair activities to obtain optimum utilization of machines and equipment.• Evaluate field installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.• Coordinate equipment installations at customer site.• Integrate and install peripheral equipment.• Ensure quality product installation from set up to initial operation.• Train customer maintenance and contractor employees on how to operate the equipment.• Assist customer maintenance team to troubleshoot equipment.• Service and repair company equipment in the field as needed.• Available to travel nationally, as need, for business purposes up to 60%, including overnight stays.• Must be willing to work overtime at job sites.• Clean driving record required. Special Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:• Electrical Engineering Technology degree and/or 3 to 5 years equivalent experience• Minimum of 2 years of field service experience and industrial maintenance, preferred• Strong working knowledge of electrical and safety standards• Able to receive and retain instructions in a productive manner; capable of prioritizing and keep multiple projects on schedule• Familiarity and experience with the interpretation of blueprints and electrical/engineering schematics• Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.• Able to think strategically and identify critical success factors when developing strategy and plans for assigned area of responsibility.
