L1 – Application Supervisor Position Description QUALITY OF SERVICE Manage the integrity and capability of service delivery by insuring that all team members have been certified to perform team functions by: Completing all required technical, tools, client-specific, security and application-specific training Shadowing a certified team member for a timeframe agreed upon by the manager. Providing primary support while being shadowed by a certified team member for a timeframe agreed upon by the manager. Providing daily feedback during the first 2 weeks of stabilization support. Ensure all tickets are accurately, clearly documented in a timely fashion. Ensure all tickets are handled effectively meeting or exceeding all SLAs. Ensure all operational tasks are executed correctly and on time. Ensure all team members understand SLAs and meet them. READINESS, PLANNING & ADMINISTRATION Ensure team members have all necessary training, resources and accesses to perform their assigned responsibilities. Develop team staffing plan at least 2 calendar weeks ahead of schedule dates and, after manager approval, communicate schedule to team. Ensure accurate, useful ATG Knowledge Articles (KAs) are written, reviewed and published to maximize your team’s effectiveness. Assist in developing, communicating, executing and post-reviewing Business Resiliency plans for your team. Complete informative weekly status report and submit to your manager on time Ensure that each team member complies with CGI and project requirements for time accounting. CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT Identify, quantify, qualify and implement improvements within your team focusing on tools, processes and roles. Participate in Continuous Service Improvement (CSI) activities defined and communicated by the ITIL/ITSM team, as needed. GOAL SETTING Develop and share Assignment Goals & Objectives for each team member with management involvement. Follow-up on a regular basis to ensure team members are achieving their technical and corporate value based goals and objectives .ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED 5 to 7 years experience in an SLA-driven IT outsourcing environment, including at least 2 years of successfull relevant supervisory experience.
