MUST BE US CITIZEN Job Description Installs, maintains, and services IP network and transport service hardware and software under limited supervision. Demonstrates knowledge of and skill with Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) layers 2 through 4, and of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) incident, problem, change, and availability management. Evaluates and responds to configuration change requests for new or expanded network and transport services. Creates new and modifies existing network interfaces, and implements and maintains network designs. Applies firmware and software updates to network and transport components. Evaluates and responds to incident reports by troubleshooting, repairing, and/or reconfiguring network and transport services. Monitors, collects measurement data, and reports on service level attainment. Monitors and enforces network and transport service security, integrity and business continuity controls. Supports planning and execution of special network and transport service projects. ***This position may be cross-trained to provide Enterprise Services Tier I/II system administration and Desktop Support*** You will be assigned one of the following shifts: Team 1 Sun, Mon, Tue, and Alternate Weds 0600 – 1830 HST Team 2 Alternate Sats, Sun, Mon, and Tue 1800 – 0630 HST Team 3 Alternate Weds, Thu, Fri, and Sat 0600 – 1830 HST Team 4 Wed, Thur, Fri, and Alternate Sats 1800 -0630 HST Team 5 Mon – Fri 0300 – 1200 HST Experience: Five to nine (5-9) years experience in network and transport service management. Experience working on router and switches. Education: H.S./GEDProfessional Certs: At least one of the following: Cisco, Juniper, Brocade, Windows, Remedy, etc.DOD 8570 Certification: IAT-II: GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP, or CCNA-SecurityClearance: Secret (Interim)
