Proposal Specialist Position Description Proposal SpecialistCGI Ottawa is seeking to hire a Proposal Specialist to work in our Proposal team. The candidate will be involved in all sections of the proposal response (Corporate Solution, Corporate References, Grids and Resumes, etc.). Responsibilities: • Must have 3-5 years’ Proposal Management experience preparing/responding to Federal Government IT / Technical proposals (including familiarity with contractual clauses and supply vehicles).• Must have Corporate Qualification research experience.• Must have experience writing compliant corporate reference responses.• Able to handle multiple competing priorities and experience leading, managing and coordinating a team to deliver small to medium bids. • Must be able to liaise with multiple team members, produce bid management master plans for corporate responses and ensure a timely process for reviews.• Must be able to interpret Statements of Work / Mandatory Criteria / Point Rated Criteria.• Must have 3-5 years’ experience liaising with resources to ensure grids and resumes are clear, concise, compliant and fully substantiated in accordance with the RFP requirements to meet all mandatory and rated criteria and experience working in a consulting environment. • Must have experience providing support, guidance and quality assurance to bid teams and revision of documents.• Must have excellent client management skills, team oriented, able to work independently and demonstrated ability in meeting tight deadlines.• Must have experience coordinate, attend and participate in meetings as required.• Must have significant experience and knowledge with MS Office suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and expert level in Word and Excel).• Post-secondary education in an IT, Administration or related field, would be an asset.Specialized Skills:• Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills and ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team• Project Management skills an asset.• Possess strong analytical skills.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Able to demonstrate flexibility and apply creativity in constantly changing contexts.• Exceptionally detail-oriented and team-oriented.• Strong oral and written communications skills (English a must, French an asset).• Hold a Government of Canada Security Clearance (Reliability a must, Secret an asset).*LI-KB1 Your future duties and responsibilities Required qualifications to be successful in this role At CGI, we’re a team of builders.
