Ruby on Rails Developer – TS + FSP REQUIRED Position Description CGI Federal is seeking a Ruby on Rails Developer to join our project team in Fairfax, VA. AN ACTIVE TS/SCI + Full Scope Poly IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION.. Your future duties and responsibilities Job Description:- Participate in the use of the newest technologies and techniques such as prototyping, component-based development, object-oriented design, Web services and architecture, COTS integration, middleware engineering or data warehousing- Develop with Ruby on Rails- Work with both RDBMS and NoSQL storage systems- Use JDBC, ODBC or direct data base interfaces- Translate system requirements from both formal and informal requirements into complex application interfaces, SOA services, or web service designs that effectively address interoperability with other applications- Formulate comprehensive test plans for adequate unit, system, and integration testing coverage- Test and evaluate business applications on complex systems for large-scale computers- Perform data base management- Document procedures for agency representatives to use in testing and evaluating programs. Required qualifications to be successful in this role Position Requirements:- Must have a Computer Science (or technical equivalent) degree- Must have BS plus 3 or more years of experience- Experience as a software developer executing SDLC process- Understanding of development platforms, unit testing, and build automation- Possess strong technical written and verbal communication skills- Industry certifications a plusSecurity Requirements:The candidate selected for hire must possess an active TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly security clearance, per client security requirements.
