Tec-Masters, Inc. is looking for a qualified Project Manager for the Search and Rescue Optimal Planning System (SAROPS) contract in support of the Coast Guard’s Command, Control and Communications Engineering Center (C3CEN) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Successful candidate will have five years of experience in SAROPS technology environment, including 2-3 years of practical professional experience in SAROPS project management. Must possess fundamental understanding of SAROPS development. B.S. or B.A. degree in Business Administration, Management, Project Management, Computer Science, Engineering or related field. Experience in working with SAROPS technology staff, stakeholders, management and others outside the organization. Experience in leading cross-functional SAROPS project teams. Experience in managing SAROPS contractors and subcontractors. Experience in adjusting and setting priorities to meet SAROPS project deadlines. Knowledge and experience in estimating SAROPS project costs. Ability to communicate written and verbal including presentation skills on SAROPS project timeline and technical aspects. Strong persuasion and negotiation skills, including conflict resolution skills to facilitate SAROPS technical discussions and decision making. Ability to obtain a Secret level security clearance.
