Sr. CND Analyst Position Description CGI Federal, Government Secure Solutions, is seeking an experienced Computer Network Defense Analyst to work on site in Suitland, MD The qualified candidate will be responsible for Computer Network Defense and assisting in incident response services includes the actions taken to report, analyze, coordinate, and respond to any event or computer security incident for the purpose of mitigating any adverse operational or technical impact. Requirements: – Knowledge of incident response and intruder attack methodologies. – Knowledge of information assurance government policies and LE digital security – Experience performing computer forensics including detailed technical analysis of media such as Hard Drives, USB Drives and similar media of compromised systems. – Experience in application of Information Assurance (IA) and Computer Network Defense (CND) concepts, practices, and tools. – Strong information security/ cyber security background. – Ability to communicate complex technical and programmatic information, often in the form of verbal and visual operational updates, situation reports, and briefings. – Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. – Strong Writing and Presentation Skills. – Ability to work well in a team setting. Additional Requirements7+ years of intelligence analysis related experienceExcellent communication skills (oral and written)Microsoft Office (working knowledge)Ability to perform basic protocol and network analysisBachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (Master’s Degree preferred)In lieu of a degree specialized training in computer programming, network/system administration, or computer system networking and communication and at least 9 years’ experience CND or Intelligence analysis requiredDesired certifications: A+, Net+, Security +CEH, CPT, CCNA or CISSP preferredClearance: TS/SCI Your future duties and responsibilities Required qualifications to be successful in this role At CGI, we’re a team of builders.
