In partnership with our client we are seeking to identify a Tax Senior Manager or Tax Manager that will be responsible for completing, supervising and reviewing multiple projects and client assignments. This candidate will be responsible for supervising up to 15 or more staff on multiple concurrent engagements; will be required to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of tax return and financial statement processes; and will perform a review of the work prepared by Associates, Senior Associates, and Managers for coverage, completeness, accuracy, and technical proficiency.. Desired Skills and ExperienceA CPA (essential) with 8 or more years of experience in public accounting is required. A Masters degree in Accounting or related field is preferred.Big 4 experience is highly valued. A history of leading multiple concurrent enagagements.Strong on FAS 109 (ASC 740).Proven ability to manage and develop staff.Strong relationship management and practice development skills.Experience with a variety of industries and all aspects of federal tax laws. Senior Managers will be experienced with all aspects of GAAP and financial reporting.
